In Daniel 8 there is a symbolic ram that rises up and starts making very strong military moves against some of the nations around it. Most scholars easily agree that the ram is around the geographical area of what is now known as Iran.
Later in Daniel 8 there is a symbolic goat. The goat is described as being to the west of the ram. This goat runs hard at the ram and does so with such fury that his feet never even 'touch the ground.'
Greece is to the west of Iran.
The air force of Greece is known as the Hellenistic Air Force. It is described as a "powerhouse" of an Air Force and during NATO exercises the pilots of Greece regularly win the top spots.
